I think Bushism, Sarah Palinism and Dan Quale(ism) are the funniest..if you watched Jimmy Krimel Live there was a section on "We will miss you Goofy" and it was so hilarious!

Some of this stuff just does make your teeth hurt, doesn't it? Kinda like President George W. Bush saying: "I just don't understand why they hate us so much, because we're so GOOD." Oh, God, what an imbecile!

I love your sense of irony and the way you use it to prick the bubbles that "important" people live in. Sad, isn't it, how disconnected we become from where life is really lived by real people who go to work every day. RE the killings in Assam, I recall a classmate coming to me in tears back in 1957 because she'd just received the news that part of her family back in Nagaland had been killed in their sleep by "revolutionaries". I've never forgotten it. In my mind, these "revoilutionaries" were and are just murderers, killers sho see reality from inside a bubble of ideology that they call "reality". The reality was that my friend's family was dead and that she was broken-hearted.

Great collection of stupidity-- I am happy to see no Canadian quotes... could be that we are so reserved and mumbly in our stupidity that it never gets international attention?

Well Cynthia, as long as someone does'nt get featured on this post/comment, they must be doing something right..or have plain been overlooked. Not much is known about Canadian politics per se. Perhaps you can share some goofups/bloopers with us ? Cheers, D :)
